CWS Assembly

On Tuesday, all of Woodend School went over to the community center for a special assembly about the CWS trucks and the signs Woodend School students designed for them. These signs promoted road safety.

A highlight of the assembly was for the students to see our Kapa haka group perform, TWICE!

Swimming lessons!

As well as volleyball, we are also doing swimming!! We spend an hour in the pool each week. While one half of the students have a lesson the others get to have free time in the playing pool, then we swap. 

New Term New Sport

Today, was room 13's first volleyball lesson. It was great. We got to play a few games where we needed to eliminate the players from the opposite team. In spite of the cold we had a great time and stayed warm-ish. 

 Tomorrow is swimming so students need to remember their togs and towels.
